At about age 30, bone mass stops increasing. If your body isn't getting enough calcium, it will take calcium from your bones.
To increase calcium in old age one must take calcium-rich foods such as yoghurt and cheese. In addition, one can take supplements too if it does not interfere with other medications.
Approximately 500 milligrams of calcium can be taken at one time. Therefore, do not take all supplements at the same time.
