The complete haemogram measures several components of blood, including red blood cells (RBCs) which carry oxygen, white blood cells (WBCs) which fight infection, haemoglobin (Hb) which is the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells, hematocrit which is the proportion of red blood cells to the total volume of blood, and platelets that help blood clot.
