When we get a blood test, it checks for hemoglobin levels, how well the organs are working and also checks for cancers and other chronic diseases.

Metamyelocytes are not normally present in the peripheral blood, but can be seen in infectious or inflammatory states, and in other reactive and neoplastic conditions.
Myelocytes along with metamyelocytes and promyelocytes,are the precursors of neutrophils,the largest class of white blood cell. These immature neutrophils are normally found only in the bone marrow. In the blood, metamyelocytes are the most often observed, accompanied by a few myelocytes.
The cost varies from lab to lab. They are in the range of 1500 to 2500 Rupees
