What is the difference between HBA1C and blood sugar levels?
The difference is A1C is the mean average for 3 months of control of blood sugar levels. Whereas fasting blood sugar levels are of the same day.

Usually this test can be taken at any time but this test is most preffered in the morning.
Fasting blood sugar (in the morning, before eating) should be Less than 100 mg/dL. 1-2 hours after a meal should be Less than 140 mg/dL. And 2-3 hours after eating should be Less than 100 mg/dL
It is possible to have high A1C levels without diabetes in rare cases. Iron, folate etc can also increase HBA1C levels.
Both are accurate. A1C gives the control for 3 months whereas fasting glucose will give the results for that particular day.
