You are recommended to check with a doctor. You can either take cynocobalmin tablets or hydroxocobalamin injections to boost your vitamin B12 levels. In addition take a protein rich diet comprising of dairy, poultry and meat to increase your B12 naturally.
A serum vitamin B12 level between 200 pg/mL and 900 pg/mL is considered normal, however, values ranging between 300 to 350 pg/mL is recognised as a marker for a desirable status in the elderly.
All dairy products are a good source of Vitamin B12. In addition, one can include red meat once a week to boost vitamin B 12 intake
