A blood glucose level 200mg/dl or more is high and should be shown to a doctor immediately so that it does not affect the growing fetus.
The glucose intolerance test is done during pregnancy to screen for gestational diabetes that develops during pregnancy.
Avoid eating high sugar foods and refined carbs for atleast a week before the test and glucose test will usually come normal
The glucose tolerance test is a lab test to check how your body stores sugar from the blood into tissues like muscle and fat.
Start walking everyday and most importantly consult with a doctor who may tell you about the foods to consume and foods to avoid.
