You must contact a doctor immediately as high levels of vitamin B12 may indicate kidney or liver disorders. Depending upon your condition your doctor will recommend medications or dietary changes to lower vitamin B12 levels which are higher than anything over 900 pg/mL.

Studies show that drinking alcohol significantly reduces B12. Hence, if you are taking alcohol daily then you must keep your levels in check.
A serum vitamin B12 level between 200 pg/mL and 900 pg/mL is considered normal, however, values ranging between the values are considered good and safe.
