In general: A total cholesterol level of less than 200 mg/dL (5.17 mmol/L) is normal. A total cholesterol level of 200 to 239 mg/dL (5.17 to 6.18 mmol/L) is borderline high. A total cholesterol level of 240 mg/dL (6.21 mmol/L) or greater is high.
If you have slightly high cholesterol then it means that plaque is building up slowly in the arteries.
LDL cholesterol levels should be under 110 mg/dl. Anything above 110 is considered boderline and elevated.
Unfortunetely, high cholesterol has no symptoms. It can be only detected with the help of blood tests. Especially Lipid profile.
Eating too many boiled eggs may cause cholesterol problems.
